I came across this app called Testerup that says you can earn $120 per test by playing games. Has anyone here tried it? Is it legit, or just another scam? I’m curious if it’s actually worth the time to try or if it’s better to stick with other apps like Swagbucks or Mistplay.
I’ve used Testerup a bit. It’s legit, but there are a few catches. You won’t get $120 for every offer, and a lot of them require spending money to actually reach the goals. I cashed out after hitting the $70 minimum, but it took me a while.
@Diana
So you can make money, but do you really have to spend to get there?

Not always, but for the bigger payouts, you often do. Some of the games require in-app purchases to reach certain levels. You can still earn without spending, but the progress will be super slow.
I’ve heard mixed reviews. Some people say they’ve earned over $100, but I’ve also seen complaints about offers not tracking correctly. Has anyone had issues with that?

Yeah, I had an issue where one of my offers didn’t track properly. I contacted their support, and it took a while, but they eventually fixed it and gave me credit for the task. It’s definitely something to keep an eye on.
@Tara
Good to know there’s support, at least. Did they respond quickly?

It wasn’t super fast. I think it took a few days for them to get back to me. But they were polite and got it resolved.
I made about $82 playing games like Lily’s Garden and Yahtzee. It took me around a week to hit the $70 minimum, and I cashed out via PayPal. Honestly, it’s a fun way to make a little extra cash, but I wouldn’t rely on it for anything more than that.
@Mariana
That sounds pretty decent for just playing games. How long did it take you each day to get to that amount?

I played a couple of hours each day. Some games are more grindy than others, so it depends on how fast you want to progress. If you’re in it for the fun and not just the money, it’s worth it.
@Mariana
I might give it a try, especially if I can do it in my downtime.
I became a Premium tester on Testerup. It’s cool because you get higher-paying jobs and some exclusive offers. But to get there, you have to complete five premium missions, which can take some time.

What kind of perks do you get as a Premium tester? Do the missions pay out a lot more?
@Blue
The jobs definitely pay more, and you get access to some offers that regular users don’t see. But I wouldn’t say it’s game-changing. It’s just a nice bonus if you’re already planning to use the app regularly.
My biggest issue with Testerup is the high cash-out threshold. $70 is a lot compared to other apps like Swagbucks, where you can cash out at $5. It’s a bit of a grind to reach the payout.

That’s a good point. I usually prefer apps with lower cash-out limits. How long did it take you to reach $70?
@Hallie
It took me about two weeks of consistent playing. Some of the offers pay a lot, but they also take a lot of time. So it’s not super fast unless you’re doing the higher-paying ones that might require spending money.
Does Testerup actually pay out reliably? I’ve used apps in the past where you hit the cash-out limit, and then they make it impossible to actually get your money.

I cashed out with no issues. The money went to my PayPal within 24 hours, so it’s legit in that regard. You just have to get to that $70 mark first.
