I found a list of 12 apps that offer $50 cash advances, and I’m trying to figure out which ones are actually worth it. Some of them sound promising, but I’d love to hear from people who’ve used them. Any recommendations?
I’ve used EarnIn a few times. It’s pretty reliable, and you can get up to $100 per day without any fees unless you want it instantly. Otherwise, you wait a day or two.

How’s the instant option work? Do they charge a lot for it?
@Cedar
It’s not too bad. They just charge a small fee, but I usually wait since I don’t mind the delay.
Dave has been my go-to. You can borrow up to $500, and they’ve got budgeting tools too. The instant transfer fee is small, but if you’re okay with waiting a day or two, it’s free.

Does it actually help with budgeting? Or is it more like basic tools?
@Phoebe
It’s not super detailed, but it’s good for keeping track of expenses. If you’re looking for something simple, it works.
Cleo is kinda fun to use. The AI bot has a sarcastic vibe, but it can lend you up to $100. You’ll have to pay $5.99 a month for the premium version, though.

What do you mean sarcastic? Like, it roasts you if you spend too much?
@Wilkie
Exactly. It’s kinda funny but actually makes you think twice before spending. Definitely a unique app.
I’ve been using Current for a while now. The overdraft feature lets you borrow up to $200, and it doesn’t charge any fees. Plus, you can earn 4% APY on savings.

That APY sounds solid! Is it a hassle to get set up for the overdraft?
@Gabi
Nah, it’s pretty easy. You just set up direct deposit and wait a bit to increase your limit.
I’ve tried MoneyLion for the $50 advances. It’s pretty smooth, and you can raise the limit as you use it more. I like that there’s no interest or credit check.

Do they take long to raise your limit, or is it quick?
@Zinnia
It depends on how much history you build with them, but it didn’t take long for me to go from $50 to $250.
