Even if you would have preferred a lower credit limit, use the whole amount for which you were eligible. Your debt-to-limit ratio improves with increased credit (presuming you have credit card debt).

When joining SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union, there typically isn’t a mandatory waiting period before you can apply for a personal loan. As a new member, you should be able to apply for a loan as soon as your membership is established and your account is active. However, specific requirements can vary, so it’s a good idea to check directly with SchoolsFirst Federal CU for their policies and any other eligibility criteria that may apply. This way, you can get accurate information tailored to your situation and ensure you’re ready to move forward with your personal loan application.
