I'm seeking some guidance and support. I've watched videos and read books, but I'm still feeling lost about what to do

My girlfriend and I recently moved into an apartment that costs $1,760 a month, which includes water and trash. Our internet is $65 a month, and electricity is around $250. I drive a 2019 Honda CR-V, which I financed in 2022, with 40 payments of $500 a month still to go. Our phone bill is $100 a month, and we try to keep groceries around $500, though it’s difficult. Gas costs us about $200 a month, and our combined car insurance is $428. We also have a cat, which adds $17 a month to our expenses.

I earn $15 an hour, making $900 every two weeks, while my girlfriend earns $17 an hour, bringing in $500 weekly. Our combined monthly income is about $3,800. I’ve also factored in the cost of registration stickers for both cars, which is $66 a month. We’ve struggled to cover car repairs and my medical bills, especially with my ongoing health issues, including blindness, a broken back, allergies, eczema, and asthma.

I have an Associate of Arts degree and was pursuing accounting, but I’ve had to stop. I have several years of experience in serving and a year in assistant management. Currently, I work in collections, but I’m searching for a better-paying job with a retirement plan, as I have $0 in savings or retirement at 27 years old. To make matters worse, I’m facing an imminent layoff.
