I’ve been thinking about picking up some part-time work with Uber Eats to supplement my income. I’m curious about how much Uber Eats pays per delivery in different areas. Could anyone who has experience with this share some insights? Specifically, I’d like to know how the earnings stack up, including base pay, tips, and any bonuses during peak hours. Understanding this would really help me decide if it’s a viable option for me. Thanks in advance!

Hello, Frances Evans. The average cost per mile driven from home to home is $1.50. I was making around $1200 per week before the summer. It became difficult to earn $600 while driving my automobile all day.

I left an extra $6 cash tip tonight because I had separate hot and cold bags. A three-mile Taco Bell order cost a total of $22. He was thrilled that I had two bags. This is a new side hustle for me, but I used to deliver pizza for ten years, so getting back into it has been enjoyable.
Be safe and make that money, folks!
